Dad Reflex Privacy Policy

Effective 14 September 2026. This policy covers the Dad Reflex app for iPhone. The studio website has its own separate policy.

The short version

Dad Reflex does not ask for an account, an email address or a name. Your progress lives on your phone. The only thing that ever leaves the device is what you choose to send: a Game Center score, or an anonymous profile for online duels. I do not sell data, I do not share it with data brokers, and I do not track you across other apps or websites.

What stays on your device

Levels won and their results, your pillow collection, tokens and hearts, achievement progress and your settings are all stored in the app's own storage on your phone. I cannot see any of it. Deleting the app deletes it. If you back your phone up through iOS, that backup may include the app's data; that backup belongs to you and Apple, not to me.

Game Center, if you use it

Signing in to Game Center is optional and the game plays in full without it. If you are signed in, Dad Reflex sends your Survival time to the Survival leaderboard and reports achievement progress. Apple stores that data and shows the nickname you chose with Apple, not one the game assigns. It is covered by Apple's privacy policy, not this one. Decline Game Center and you lose nothing but the leaderboard.

Online duels

The first time you open Online, the game creates an anonymous account on the match server. No email address, no password, no name from you. That account holds a random identifier, a display name the server generates for you and that you can change, your rating, your experience level, your win, loss and draw counts, and a record of the matches you play: the round's seed, both scores, the number of misses, the timestamps and who won.

That is the whole record. The game does not read your contacts, your photos, your location or your address book. The match server is hosted on Supabase. If you never open Online, no account is ever created and nothing is ever sent.

Purchases

Every purchase in Dad Reflex is processed by Apple through the App Store. The game is told that a purchase completed and which item it was for, so it can deliver it. I never see your card number, your billing address or your Apple Account details, and they are never stored.

Advertising

The current release of Dad Reflex contains no advertising SDK and shows no ads, so nothing is collected for advertising purposes and the game does not ask for permission to track you. The game does offer a permanent ad-free purchase for players who want to rule it out in advance. If advertising is ever switched on, this policy will be updated before that build ships, and any consent the law requires will be asked for at that point.

Analytics

There is none. Dad Reflex ships with no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting service.

Children

Dad Reflex is a game about catching babies on a pillow and it is built to be family-friendly. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included. The only data that leaves a device is the anonymous online profile described above, and it contains nothing that identifies a person.

Your choices

Skip Game Center and nothing goes to Apple. Skip Online and no account is created. Delete the app and the local save goes with it. To have an online profile and its match records deleted, email me from the device and tell me the display name on the profile; I will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it, and anything that affects what is collected will be in place before the build that does it reaches the App Store.
